Overview
The Cyber Defenders Academy, offered by IBG Consulting Group, is an innovative summer program tailored for youth ages 9-13. Over six weeks, participants will gain hands-on experience with cybersecurity concepts, tools, and techniques to answer the question: "How can we create a safer and more secure future online?" Designed to inspire and equip the next generation of digital defenders, the program combines engaging activities, interactive lessons, and real-world applications to demystify the exciting field of cybersecurity.
All participants will earn $125 weekly with full participation in program activities.

Time: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

What They Will Learn
At the Cyber Defenders Academy, students will:
Understand Cybersecurity Basics: Learn how to recognize cyber threats, protect personal information, and use cybersecurity tools like ethical hacking and encryption.
Develop Life Skills: Build teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities through group projects and simulations.
Explore Digital Innovation: Design an app to help others stay protected online and present it in a “sales pitch” at the program showcase.
Prepare for Future Careers: Gain early exposure to cybersecurity career paths and the skills needed for the growing tech industry.
